I am thinking of using this album to make a pre-made autograph book for our December trip. Does anyone know how many pages it holds?

I was thinking of using the left side for the photograph and the right side for the autograph. However, last trip DD6 met 50 characters. I don't think CM book will hold 50 layouts. I really don't want to lug around 2 albums. ANy suggestions?

A CM album will hold approximently 40 pages...which is 80 sides. It comes with 15 pages and you can get page refills to add to it.

I am going to use one in January for my kid's autogragh album. I will be bringing the album and just letting them sign each page....that way, I can put pages with pictures in between them when we return or fit the picture directly on to the autographed page.

I've used this album for 2 trips now and it is getting bulky. What I did is have the characters sign every page, and at home, insert blanks in between to put the photos and a few embellishments. This worked well for us and was easy to carry in a large ziploc in our backpack. Now that it is thicker/heavier and we no longer need a stroller, I think I will leave it in the camper and bring a list of who we have. I'll make up a bunch of 4x6 cardstock sheets and put them in a small sleeve style photo album for protection. This, with a mini clip board will all fit into a ziploc too. Once home, I will add these sheets and photos in to the album in the same manner. This will just save me from lugging the album around. Although, the kids got lots of attention on the second trip as several characters wanted to look through it etc. My dd,4, was especially pleased when Kim Possible gushed over her album. Oh, I might just have to lug it after all!

Thanks for the question, I was wondering how much more I should try to fit into the album.

I am pretty sure that the CM 7X7 holds 24 pages. Just one refill and the original pages. The 12X12 holds two refills plus the original so that is 45.

I used a 7X7 for our autograph album. I brought it plus a refill pack. I had the characters sign on one side and then I put photos on the other. I also took out pages each day and added new ones so I was not carrying around a fat album.

my mickey 7x7 currently has 15 pages it came with plus 2 refills. and it's pretty close to maxed out. My CMC says 45 pages is recommended max

We just used one for my daughters autograph book. We took a bunch of pages each day ~ no sense in carrying the extra weight of the book!
I put them in a ziplock in my bag. Had characters sign both sides and we are putting blanks in between so when you look at it there will be an autograph on on side and her picture on the other.

I was pretty sure that I was right about the recommended amount of pages for a 7X7 being 24 so I checked. It is 24. http://www.creativememories.com/MainMenu/Our-products-and-services/FAQs/Detail?folder=AlbumsComponents

If that does not work go to the CM webpage and go to products. One the left there is a place to click FAQ. On that page there is a list of recommened weight and pages for each size.
