Sticking Vellum?

Hi. :wave2: How do yous stick down your vellum to paper? My last card I used - glue dots-they show through.
glue stick-when dried, it did not stick.

I used some tape that a friend had at a crop once. I think it was called vellum tape and you couldn't see it...I wonder if I am making that up or if it is true!! :rotfl: I have a hard time remembering to thaw dinner these days let alone what I used to stick down vellum with at a crop last summer...but to the best of my knowledge their is a product out there that is a vellum tape. I don't use vellum very often in my scraping. I am more of a rice paper kind of gal! :) But...you can't see the tape lines under that peice of vellum!

I have seen others use brads to tack it down or eyelets. And another friend always sews her vellum on to her pages.

There is also a vellum tape that works well on almost everything. I have not had good luck with it sticking and not showing on textured cardstock like Bazzill. I use brad or eyelets to secure on Bazzill. I have also been known to use a well placed embellishment to hide a glue spot. :confused3

I use 3L vellum tape and it works well. It's not perfect, but it is the best for vellum that I've found. Per the directions, you apply it and then rub it in a little and it's virtually invisible. I use brads too but sometimes they don't work on the page so the 3L stuff is good.

I use my xyron. It is the best I have found not to show through, but if it is on dark cardstock it doesn't exactly show through, but you can tell a difference. As other posters have said, brads are a good choice if they incorporate into your design.

vellum tape is my favorite thing to use. I have used photo turns & brads though.

I use the 3M Vellum tape, my xyron, or brads or eyelets.

I generally use Xyron, but for some things, I use a Sailor glue pen and "write" on the back where the print is.
