We will be in Siesta Key for New Years Eve and are wondering about what activities might be good for 2 adults and two kids.

As of right now we are considering going to the drum circle (if there is one that night), late dinner at D. Deck and then wandering around SK village.

We also have fun cards for Busch Gardens (that expire that night), so we are thinking about going up to Busch for part of the day and then coming back to SK in the afternoon. DH is not interested in driving too far once it gets dark due to possible intoxicated people on the highway.

Does anyone have any other ideas for that evening?

Also - so you know....there are DUI check points off both of SK's bridges that evening. The local taxi's and towing services all offer free rides. Most restaurants do a buffet type deal and drink specials.

Not really much goes on here on NYE......

Thanks for the info.

Since NYE falls on a Sunday night, do you think that there might be a drum circle that night?? I think it takes place each Sunday night but not sure it will take place on a holiday??
The other Sunday evening we will be in SK is Dec 24. I am really hoping that there will be a drum circle one of these evenings.
