Hi, does anyone know the ceremony times for an Intimate Vow Renewal at the Yacht Club?? We are trying to iron out the details of our reception and want to renew in the afternoon/early evening (before the sun goes down so we can get good pictures).

Thanks! :)

I believe they are on the odd hours so 9am, 11am,1pm, 3pm and 5pm i think!

What time of year are you thinking of getting married?

We are renewing our vows in December. I would love to have the ceremony at 5:00pm (around dusk), however I am worried about getting pictures in the daylight. I so wish the Wedding Pavillion would do vow renewals on Saturday for Intimates because we are having our reception at California Grill afterwards. We will be there to view Wishes at 9:00pm.

Thanks

Ive just had a look and the sunset times in December are between 5:02 and 5:13 depending if you want the beginning or end of december.

If you want a 5pm Ceremony you can always arrange to have your photographs taken before the ceremony so that you have the daylight shots!

FYI - The best light for photography is about 1-2 hours before sundown and 1-2 hours before sunrise. During that time the light is not harsh and shadows are not pronounced. These are called "the magical hours" in photography.

Of course on a cloudy day then it is a little different.

Keep that in mind when planning the time of the ceremony espcially outside.

In the case of the Yacth Club gazebo, the sun will be setting behind the Yacht Club so it could be darker where the gazebo is.

You may want to do the photoshoot a little earlier.

Just my .02 cents.
