We're interested in visiting Vero Beach in the near future. Does TF Green/Providence fly direct into Melbourne? Is there a direct flight to West Palm Beach?

My understanding is that Melbourne is a VERY small airport and hard to find flights into.

We own DVC (at Boardwalk) and have been to Disney's Vero Beach Resort twice (I'm assuming that is what you mean). It is awesome!

We fly Southwest out of Providence to Orlando non-stop. Vero is about a 2 hour drive. SW also flys to West Palm Beach but I don't think it is a non-stop. Vero is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from there. So, we choose the non-stop route just because its easier with kids (also, both times we have done Vero we have also done WDW, so the Orlando airport is the obvious choice for us).

You really only save a little time flying into Melbourne. Wit limited flight options, it's not worth it. Orlando is a very easy drive to Vero. You'll love it there.

I would NOT try to find Vero at night for the first time, it's really easy to drive right by it.

When we went there last year, we flew into MCO at night, and spent the night at a hotel in Orlando before heading to Vero the next day.

My aunt lives in Melbourne FL and usually uses Orlando airport!! If I remember correctly she has used the Melbourne airport a few times with no direct flights.
