Okay, so I got an ipod shuffle about a week ago. It's been working fine up until i plugged it in to the computer the other day. The light kept flashing orange and a folder windo came up instead of iTunes. And when i go to put songs on my Ipod iTunes says its not connected or its being used by something else. Does any one know wut the heck is going on!? I'm about ready to jsut snap the flippin thing in half!! :furious: I'm going to Europe in about a week and I'd like to get it figured out by then, cause so far I dont have any idea what's wrong. So some one PLEASE help me!!! Thanks.

Well... Did you try the help? That clears things up alot. Some other advice, maybe your itunes has some auto crap turned on. It's really annoying till you fix it. If you need more help than that darn help, schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple you bought it at. You can book using this link: http://www.apple.com/retail/ and select the Apple store closest to you. And it'll pop up, and you'll see a little box that says "Need help? Book with the Genius Bar/Concierge." etc. Click it, book an appointment, and some help'll be on the way.

If someone is already logged onto your computer then they have to logoff before you can use the shuffle on your name.

First, this iPod isn't set as your default iPod, so iTunes treats as a foreign one. What ya gotta do is look for a playlist called whatever you titled the iPod. You drop the songs in there, then right-click your iPod and select "Update iPod". I don't know how to switch default iPods but that's the way it works for my computer.

Nah, I know what you're talking about and that's not the problem, thanks though.
