Weather today was 87 and sunny off and on! But very humid. You did need sunblock. Went to AK and left by 11 a.m. because it was too hot. Back to room at the BC and to the pool. It was wonderful, hardly anybody there, and very hot. Got dressed and headed to concierge for wine and canapes. Heading over to Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival.
Yesterday we went to the Magic Kingdom and saw the new parade. It was good but too short. Went on the POC and HM and Hall of Presidents where we saw George W. Bush. Everyone clapped as it was very patriotic.
One rainstorm during the POC then sunny again and humid. Went to Food and Wine Festival last night and ate and drank our way around The World. It is the BEST! Back to room extremely tired and slept well!
All in all the weather has been fantastic if you like hot and humid. The crowds are low but the park hours have been shortened to compensate for this.
As far as the Surprise Mornings go, each hotel has different characters. At the BWI we saw Alice in Wonderland characters. At the BC we saw Pinocchio characters. So it is different at each resort each time.
Employees can be overheard discussing the cutbacks of their hours. But all in all the mood still seems upbeat.
My sister and her husband went to BB and it was very crowded and festive. TL is still open but due to close for renovations on the 29th of October.
AK opens at 9 a.m. now.
MK opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 6p.m. Some nights they may stay open later but you don't find out until you are there. So planning ahead is a little difficult.
I'm typing this at the YC business center where they charge $10.00 for 15 minutes of use, so I hope you are enjoying this trip report. The other day I used my cell phone and my sister's laptop computer to post. I will try to post every three or four days. We are here until November 1.
A cold front is coming through which will make the high temps only in the 70's which will feel good for us as we walk around EPCOT so we aren't so tired from the heat.

Oh, haven't seen any green ribbons. I am wearing mine just in case. I did meet one person from Boston on the DISBOARDS. Her name is onthego123. I think...
