SOO Excited for the Disney playhouse concert!!

I just checked on the Disney Website for an updated concert listing and saw that Dan Zanes was going to be there 9/25 - 9/30!!! YEA!!!

DD & I are going to miss our Wiggles but we'll be dancing to Dan!! :banana:

Anyone else a Dan Zanes fan too?

I like Dan Zanes! Unfortunately, I'm still trying to get DD to like him. :rotfl: We'll be at WDW when he is there too. I'm still curious how they are going to handle the Playhouse Disney concerts/special events. I don't think that I'm going to want to wait in a line for hours to see any of the performances (even the Wiggles).

DS has recently started liking Dan Zanes - which is a big hooray in our house...as much as we like the Wiggles we're pretty tired of them in the car. Dan Zanes has actually helped DS to branch to "our" music and currently he's also liking Yellow Card! :thumbsup2 DH and I were also Del Fuegos fans, so that makes Dan Zanes even more fun for us.

We're excited to be at WDW the same time as Dan Zanes - anyone know anything about logistics of these special concerts/appearances? Like what park, where in the park, times, etc? I'm making the MGM assumption, but there are certainly other venues that could be used as well.

DH thought that maybe the concerts will be at the Beauty & Beast theatre in MGM. Maybe 2-3 small concerts each day? That made since to me...what y'all think?

New Dan Zanes fans here, because DDs (5 & almost 3 ) have just found out he'll be there on 9/30 with us! I have planned MK not MGM that day, however will definately try to work him in. I have always read here concerts @ MGM, & yesterday our AAA Carolinas magazine did report multiple concerts per day, however nothing more than that. Beauty & the Beast theater would make sense, although maybe too small?

One of the FL residents had posted a while back that these are going to be ticketed events. So if you are really interested I would call disney to check- I don't think this will be a wait in line get in kind of thing. Good luck and yes I love Dan- ring ring doorbell ring it's houseparty time..........

No luck in calling WDW...they have no information other than your park ticket will get you into the event. Hopefully as we get closer they will have more info. Hard to make Priority Seatings with no information

Thanks everyone for good speculations on the logistics...and thank you 2002Disneybride for calling. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see. I agree that planning is difficult if we don't have any ideas on specifics! Keeping my fingers crossed that they release some info soon.

Oh I'm so excited for all of you attending the shows. Dan is a great performer. I attended a show that he did in Brooklyn, NY and DD (4yr) loved it! Too bad he won't be there during my trip, Nov 12-19. Anyone know of any shows during that week?

Just "googled" Imagination Movers...was curious since we will be there with DD September 17-23. Looks like another music act. Their site says they have just signed a deal with Disney to develop a Playhouse Disney project. Anyways, take a look. I think the url was imaginationmovers.com

I am very excited about the concert series. We live in the Tampa area, and have seasonal passes. Looks like we will be making weekly trips to MGM in Aug and Sept!
