I posted a previous thread about looking for awning lights. For those who have the Mickey or Disney string of lights, do you have any pictures of them?
Others would like to see them and I'd love to see what they look like as well.

you can save the picture to your computer, go to www.photobucket.com and upload them. Then copy the URL website that they give you once it's successful and paste it into a reply.
Thanks so much if your able to do it. I'm curious as to what they look like...
Back in January I posted about Christmas lights that could be purchased at the Christmas store in Downtown Disney. Somebody attached a picture of them to that post.
When I was there in April, they still had them for sale. They are plastic Mickey-shaped balls. I got an extra set. $15.

They sell them on e-Bay and have a picture. Please note that these are the one's that we purchased at DTD Christmas Store for $15.

Those are cool. We have some we got many years ago at the Disney Store (remember when the Disney store was good and owned by Disney?). They are Mickey pants, gloves, ears and shoes.
I remember those ... unfortunately, I didn't think to buy any.

Guess I might be calling Disney tomorrow. I'm sure they can be ordered over the phone much cheaper.
Would you normally get 1 or 2 sets?

Hi, I just wanted ya''ll to be aware that you cannot connect two strands together. They don't connect end to end.

oh, that's good to know...why would someone make them that way?
Guess I won't be purchasing them afterall. Oh well...

That wasn't a problem for us, but if it is for you then you could pop the light covers off and put them on another strand of lights. We took several off to change the order of the lights and it was pretty easy.

Hey, now that's an idea. I'd probably need more than one strand of lights for a TT awning. I think I normally see them strung around the whole awning.
