our whole disney trip! We leave Sept 4th - the 9th of 06. I want to surprise him with a nice dinner. He is 25 loves steak/firworks/boats and i want to make reservations at a nice restaurant that he will enjoy. I know he will be surprised because he doesnt expect this from me. Plus this my first trip to disney. He has been there as a kid and still remembers some good restaurants. What would you guys suggest would be a nice romantic yet not too fancy place to take him? :confused3

Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Excellent food, and excellent service. You can attend the fireworks at EPCOT. You could even rent a water craft if you wanted!

Good call on the California Grill. We ate there it was awsome, you have to try the goat cheese ravioli, it was amazing and I don't even live goat cheese! Plus they dim the lights for the fireworks, very romantic. Your boyfriend will love it, the best food I've had in WDW.

I ate at the California Grille and had the steak. Honestly, I didn't think the food and the fireworks viewing was worth the price.

I have heard good things about the fireworks cruise you can take at the Seven Seas Lagoon. They play the Wishes soundtrack and you watch the fireworks.

If you two are adventurous, I'd recommend Boma. It's at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and has American Cuisine with an African flavor. It's all you can eat and they have a wide selection of food.

You can eat at the Plaza Restaurant. Its right on Main Street and you can get an excellent view of the fireworks. They dont have steak but they have a Cheese Steak sandwhich wich is good.

Just got back from Ohana at the Polynesian...amazing! All you can eat meatfest extravaganza! Pork, chicken, sausage (the best one), and steak grilled on skewers. They also had shrimp, salad, stir fried veggies, and scalloped potatoes.
