I dont know where I got this from, (I have read a ton of Disney books) but I thought pets were allowed in the cabins with you. I will be boarding during the day, but would prefer to have them at night with me. Anyone know? Thanks for your time...

Sorry, but no pets are allowed in the cabins. You will have to board your pet overnight in the kennel.

Thanks for the super quick reply! Anyone have any experience with boarding their pets at Disney? Any tips? Thanks again!

We've boarded our beagle at the FW kennels for the past 8 years. The kennel is clean (no kennel smell), and the staff is great. Cost is very reasonable. They do expect you to walk your pet during the day. No reservations are taken and it is first come, first served, so I would check in as soon as possible after you arrive. Weekends tend to be full, weekdays not so much. They have an evacuation plan in case you are going to be there during a hurricane - no pets are allowed to remain in the kennel during a hurricane at FW due to the extremely large trees around the kennel. This was a concern of mine last year - we left shortly before hurricane Wilma.
