Hi y'all,

Sorry I had to pop in and out of chat this evening. My dear friend had day surgery on her knees, and had no one to turn to but little ol' moi. She reacted badly to the anesthesia, so I got her home, went and got her prescriptions and stayed with her until she kicked me out and told me to come home to Bandie.

So, did anybody take notes? What did I miss? Anything new to report??

And Glo, you can't possibly wear black sequins to the tea. They will clash with my tiara, and we just can't have that!! (I hope you poor people can get used to my left-of-center humor. Really, I'm completely harmess.....)

Finished the Disneyland trip report and will amend a few things, and try to get it online sometime tomorrow. I was a little cranky today (so what else is new?) and it came through in my writing. I hope I never meet Michael Eisner in person. ::filing claws for the next attack:: :D

Sorry I missed Chat as well. Things always get crazy around the house on the days that we have company. Though they were gone by the time of chat, I was already behind in my normal routine. When that happens, my youngest foster son gets his routine out of whack and with autistic charecteristics, it causes problems for everybody.

So, what did I miss?

Another "missed chat" participant. Too many teens, needing rides home, help with Algebra homework, permission slips and funding requirements as well as allergy meds filled, and another gallon of milk {OK, time to stop whining here :)}. Anyhoo, hope all went well and we didn't miss too much!

Steve, I'm glad your friend was able to kick you out of her home....means she must doing okay. :) And although I tend to lean to the right-of-center, I always appreciate my counterparts on the 'other' side ;) and I wouldn't trade anything for your humor! :)

Gerri, I know exactly what you mean about kids reacting when their routine is out of whack...my kids 'thrive' on organization and routine. :)

FGF, for some reason when you were 'whining' I could hear myself in just a few years....LOL :D

I don't you missed much. I was only there for a short time, but I'll be d*mn*d if I remember any of it.

Okay, who has the scoop from last night's chat???? :D :D :D

I missed chat as well. And last time I was the one who summarized the proceedings. Did anyone take notes this time? If so, we'd all appreciate the Reader's Digest version of last night's chat.

ok, my memory isn't the best, but this is what I remember.

Linda spoke about the two tours offered. The Yuletide and the Keys to the Kingdom. She needs atleast 10 to sign up for them to get them to do them. The cost is pretty good. Only thing I noticed is that in the descriptions I have read they offer lunch, and Linda said lunch will not be offered in ours. That is probably why it is a little cheaper.

The other thing is that she needs people interested in the GF tea to please sing up so she can get that done too. We wil get to pick our menu there so we each get to choose what we want. Sing up will be at Dis Con registration too.

They will be seeling the Dis Con merchandise at the opening of the convention, so if you don't order before hand, you can but it there.

Marsha and Linda are tweaking the itinerary and will get it out when they can, but things are in the air because of WDW not announcing their Nov hours.

We will get an escort after the Fantasmic dessert party through Osborne lights and then to TOT on that night. Cool!!!

That is about all I remember, and I am lucky I remember that much...I hope I didn't dream any of it!!!!

Let's see what I can remember....we were reminded that the Fantasmic dessert party will be from 5:30-6:30, and afterwards we will be escorted to the Osborne Lights - possibly entering through a backstage entrance. The 2 hours of Tower of Tower will be moved up an hour to 7:00-9:00. Linda didn't think the Illuminations time would change, because Disney was still booking the 8:15 Candlelight Processional show. Since the park hours aren't known yet, she said to wait before changing the times for other scheduled events.

Thanks for the updates!!
I'm so glad they will be selling DIS-Con Merchandise at registration. I wanted to order a T-shirt, but shipping to the Netherlands would cost $ 15!!

Can't wait to see all of you!!!

WOW! Nancy and Glo, you guys are really good. I didn't remember much of anything until you said something! I think between the two of you, you covered just about everything. It's really starting to get close! Thanks for the info!
And, I swear, I am not printing out another itinerary (mine or Pat's) until we get down to the wire! Really, I mean it this time. I really do! ;)

Boy I am definitely not a commando...I just started version number 1 of my itinerary, and it is no way even close to done, never mind making another version....lol I just want to have a great time!
