My SSDI was approved

Some of you were asking me a few months back about my SSDI case and it was approved as of yesterday. I just wanted to let you know. I hope everyone is doing well.

I'm happy for you. I know while I was waiting for the decision regarding SSDI I was so worried until I got the okay.

Thanks it is hard to get it for what I have (Fibomyalgia) But I got it at the hearins stage. Always fight for what you need. I sure miss working for DIsney but it just was not possible anymore.

m glad to hear you were approved for SSDI. My dd Jessica (26) apllied 3 year ago this month for a multitude of physical problems. She had a video hearing with a judge in CA back in March. About 5 minutes into the hearing, he decided she might be depressed and postponed the hearing until she could be evaluated for depression. Long story short, Jessica died on April 29 from a brain anyuerism and now the judge has to decide if she died from something caused her disabilites and when that started. Her children stand to receive about $25,00 if it goes through, which is highly unlikely.

Hi Jen,
I am also have Fibro, I have been disabled for many years. Some days are just unbearable.
How long have you had it, and how are you doing?
