Which of the preferred sites do you find the most quiet? This will probably be the 1st of many questions so please bear with me. :D

We've never found any of the sites to be noisy, but you will hear things--the boat horns, passing buses, the ELP(nightly boat parade), campfire singing and movie, etc. Do you want quiet at night, day, peace from neighbors...?

I have heard some of the tent campers discuss the noisy buses at night. If that worries you, ask for a site far from the busstop. That might be a first, though(big grin from a lazy lady who always has blisters by day 2!)

We love the 300 and 500 loops, we have never heard any noise, and they are both close to the marina.....but I don't consider the horns from the boats unwanted noise, it's nice to hear it really makes me feel like I'm at Disney!!;) and I've only heard the boat noise in the 300, I heard nothing in the 500.:)

We always stay in the 400 loop. When we get there we request an "inside" campsite, that way you're not close to the road. We have always found this loop very quiet (then again, everyone is at the parks all day and too tired to make noise at night);)

Have a great trip!

We will have 3 year old twins with us and were more worried about the bus noise. Unless things change they tend to go to bed rather early (between 7:30-8:00) and one is a light sleeper.

Thanks for the information.:D

JUST A SUGGESTION:

We just got back from a FW stay and our site was directly behind the comfort station for our loop. The generator or whatever kicked on thru the day and night and would run for periods of time causing a loud hum. We didn't mind it one bit - it sort of became white noise after awhile, kind of like the fridge running or the hum put of my this trusy compuer i am sitting at.

If your tikes are VERY light sleepers you may want to keep that in mind.

- lori (just back and planning my next one)

I've heard the ice machines running at the comfort stations, too.

we had a site in the 1200 loop, the backside of the comfort station was directly behind our site, i was concerned about the air conditioners in that location - they were quite loud and my bunk is in the back of the trailer, it was not a bother, i do not recall even hearing the ac units while in the trailer, now in a pop up it might be a different story.
