Song of the South movie

Hi Everyone,

We just made it back from our first trip to WDW, and what a great vacation! We just loved Splash Mountain-it was our favorite ride. Now I want to get the movie Song of the South, but I found out it was never released in the USA. I have found a site on the internet that I can order a UK copy and a USA converted copy for $72.00 with shipping. Has anyone done this? If so, was it ok? I am kind of leary about sending my credit card number over the internet to a place in the UK. Please let me know what you think. I would love to get this for my husband for Christmas-but I want to make sure it is legitimate. Thanks.

I would say that I have seen song of the south. In my opinon it is not worth $72.

I hate politial correctness. Why don't we have the freedom to watch Song of the South. It it is so horrible, how come the Splash Mountain themeing is OK.

Just from what I checked out-- it's difficult to find someone to make a good copy for you from the Pal version. And it well might run you $40.
I bought a copy from a confederate supply store over the internet. It was a good copy for less than $30.
I think the post was on the Rumors board some time ago. you could probably find it in a search.
