Christmas Tree

Anyone have any suggestions about how I could get a fake tree down to WDW? Should I ship it, will I be able to check it on the plane or would it be cheaper to buy it there and if so where would be a good place to go to get an artificial tree that will still be in stock right before Christmas? I am assuming that 1. Disney would not allow me to bring a real one into the hotel and 2. I wounder if they even have such a beast for sale in Florida - we have trouble getting them to keep their needles in Ontario!

The Walt Disney World Florist has them! They are small tabletop trees decorated with some Disney ornaments. I do'nt recall the cost, but it was fairly reasonable--and you can take the ornaments back home with you!

I would call tem and go that route.

You can ship a small tree, or take it as a checked piece, but remember you will pay extra if the box is too large.

You can buy a small artificial tree and bring it with you. The boxes are not that big or heavy. The 3 footers even come with their own stand. I bought mine at Wal*Mart. Pack another small box with plastic ornaments and lights and you're all set!

You could also buy one down there at Walmart or Target.
