One of our Little Delegation has had a wonderful school year, largely in part because of the dedication, patience and persistence of their teacher. She never stopped trying, worked through almost daily frustrations, and the results have been phenomenal.
How does one reward the efforts of one so selfless and caring? We'd bring her to WDW, but she'd miss too much school.

One suggestion that a friend gave me when I was trying to come up with an idea for Michelle's teacher was a sincere, heartfelt letter telling the teacher what a difference she (or he) made and how it was appreciated. I did that (along with having Michelle paint a coffee cup and gave her a gift certificate to a local cafe she frequents, oh and a bouquet of flowers) and I watching her expression, I honestly think that was her favorite gift.
Just my two cents,
Suzanne

That is precisely what we decided to do; we just finished drafting our note. Thank you.

Every year I write a sincere, heartfelt note to each of Christian's teachers thanking them for their hard work and commitment. I give them that, plus a giftie--Last summer it was tall citronella candles and a cooler; at Christmas, movie tickets and a giant candy bar; this year I managed to get each one a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
I'm with you--I wish I could take them to Disney with us. They would have a marvelous time seeing it with Christian :goodvibes
