Just joined DVC!! My home resort is VWL and I can say that I am honestly tickled to death. I am only 20 years old and Disney made it all so easy for me to do--I couldn't be pleased with them more. It's so nice to know that my vacations will be paid off by the time I am 30!

WELCOME HOME....only 20yrs old and purchasing DVC.... I was still in college at 20 only dreaming of the next time my parents were going to pay for me to return with them to WDW!!!

Welcome home - so glad youre doing it so young. At 20 all I could think of was my next party. All that wasted money. Never did grow up until I had my son at the age of 35.

Hey!!! I am also 20 and am planning on also getting points at WLV! I'm a little cautious about the financing, and I was planning on waiting for a couple of months before buying, but I may reconsider. Did you get a resale or do it directly from Disney, and (if you don't mind my asking) what financial strategy are you using to make it managable?

Congratulations and Welcome Home ! It's great to be able to purchase at such a young age. The only disadvantage, you'll only be 62 when DVC ends ! What will you do for the next 42 years?

I love your picture of the Wilderness Lodge. My family just spent 9 wonderful nights there. We had courtyard view looking at the main pool, geyser and Bay Lake. We just bought into DVC with WLV as our "home."

Welcome Home fellow Minnesotan!

We have LOVED our DVC. We own at OKW and used to travel every other year to WDW before we bought DVC. Now we go either multiple times (with an AP) or take an extra long single trip each year. We were there 29 days last year, but this year we did an exchange to Hawaii, so we wont see Mickey again until the last 11 days of January. WE CAN HARDLY WAIT!!

Welcome Home - I'm 50 and my husband's 51 - We're waiting to grow up. We just bought - so this Feb will be our 1st trip HOME. After many other trips (all wonderful). We can't wait. Counting the days. EE's or no EE's.
I'm a commando tourist - need to slow down and smell the roses. Maybe I'll just rip up the plan I made. HAHA

Well, my first "real" trip home won't be for awhile. I already had a planned a paid for Disney vacation before purchasing DVC. However, I will be occupying my home resort for two nights as well as six nights at the BWV. So yes, I will be visiting my home resort, but not using my points. Regardles, I am so ticked with my purchase!!!
