With the parks closing at 5pm when we go we might have time for a movie while we're there.
Any discounts for annual pass holders or USO hotel guests?
Thanks!!

good question??? there is a movie/club deal for citywalk but i do not know about discounts. If it were me, i would hit the little booth in the middle right after you get off the last people mover coming from the parking garage, and really lean on the guy for a break or a deal!!!!

We've never been in the parking garages because we've been fortunate enough to have stayed at the Portofino.
What does the little guy in the booth have?

The little dude is the one who will make your reservations at any of the citywalk eateries.
They have the club/movie deal cause i have theseen the sign but never memorized the price or details.
when are you decending on orlando??? i will be in St. Louis this weekend and at EPCOT for the food and wine tasting 11/3 and 11/4 so i will be away from IOA/USF till 11/10.
Hope the withdrawal symptoms are not to sever

I just whipped out my handy dandy passholder guide and the Universal Cineplex offers $6.00 admission after 6pm.
There are also some dining and drink specials...I know the Groove offers 2 for 1 drafts.
There IS a movie and dining deal...and $17 stands out in my mind...the places that offer it have certain meals you can order as part of the deal...I know for instance that Margaritaville offers the Cheeseburger in Paradise as one of the dishes. I'll look for the brochure. I've only been here 3 months and I have quite a collection of brochures!!! :D

You're welcome! I found some info...
The CityWalk party pass is $7.95 (of course with an AP, it's 20% off for up to 4 people)
With a movie, it's $11.95 (which seems like a great deal, probably doesn't have an AP discount, who knows)
(your party pass also entitles you to a free domestic draft beer at the Skybox lounge at NBA City (FREE BEER!!!?? )
Then, the movie and meal deal IS $17 it is good at Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, Latin Quarter, Motown, NBA,Pastamore, and NASCAR. Tax and gratuity is included, and they have you choose certain menu items. Sounds reasonalbe enough!
The Meal and Party Deal is also $17 same deal, but you get a party pass instead of movie admission.
I would think there is plenty to keep people occupied there at night, and I'm thinking, maybe I'll have to head over there without the kids sometime....if only I KNEW someone down here! :(
I know some places offer drink specials early in the evening too...I think NASCAR has inexpensive drafts late afternoon. My kids just don't seem to be interested so we've never stopped, but they have a nice outdoor patio) :D

By the way, there is a LOT of info in these little brochures offered by the little guy in the booth! I never stopped to read them, but I've learned that I can check out Pat Obrien's with my kids until 9 if I want (don't shoot me...I happen to LIKE sing-alongs)
But beware, the little guy in the booth....he yelled at my children for taking 2 brochures....so be sure you only take one...or suffer, you will!!!!

*****disclaimer*****
I'm well aware that there is more than one little guy in the booth, so please don't yell at me or be offended if you ARE a little guy in the booth, are related to one, have talked to one, considered being one, or are an advocate for little guys in booths...
This was just one of probably many little guys, and he was a cranky little fella!!!
Thank you:D

Ah well thanks for clearing that up for me, MIB...
I was really, really curious as to WHY you were calling them that...but I sure wasn't about to ask!!!
I need to censor myself...it's not always easy!
Great, now I'm going to start laughing everytime I walk by the darn booth....that will be especially nice when I'm by myself!

i mostly go there by myself and it is intresting to watch how the little guys in the booth talk to and greet families versus singles.
i should have made the little guys remark clear from the start since you are from MA. :D

I remember reading that AP holders get in for $6.50 after 5 pm, but I can't find where I read it.

Barry,
Could it have been a few posts ago (on this thread) when I said they can get tickets for $6 after 6pm? (I know it's not 6.50 after 5, like you said, but it's pretty close!) :D
Or would you have been talking about something else? Are you talking about the movies/AP deal here?
Did I mention I'm slighly sarcastic and noone should EVER take it personally?
