Anyone done this solo? Was it a positive experience?
A friend wants to do this in October but her travel mates don't.
Any advice is appreciated.

I haven't done DC yet, but I certainly don't see why it would be an issue to be alone. I've thought about doing it alone - to me, it seems like it would be a nice experience, almost like visiting a spa or something. Have you tried cross-posting this to the Sea World/Discovery Cove board? You might find somebody faster that way. Good luck! :)

I've done DC alone. It was great! It was very relaxing, doing my own thing on my schedule. Not worrying if someone wanted to move on and do something else. I enjoyed the dolphin interaction, feeding the stingrays, snorkelling in the lagoon and taking time out to lie on the beach.
Ahhh, I wish I was there now! :goodvibes

I've done DC with a non-swimmer and basically felt as though I was alone. My DM has a fear of water, so just lay on the beach. The only time we were together was for lunch.
I had a fab time and felt as though I could really take my time and enjoy the dolphin swim as well as everything else that DC has to offer.
I'm sure you will have a great time.
