I've read through a ton of threads on strollers as this place rocks for awesome stroller info! I am a little concerned about purchasing from an unauthorized Mac or Peg dealer - Baby Dealz seems to be unauthorized?
1. How do I know who is authorized? I can't seem to find this info on Peg Perego's website?
2. What are the best baby stores to purchase from? I continually read great things about Albee Baby, but where else should I consider?
3. How long does it usually take to ship a stroller? I want to purchase online, and have it delivered to Saratoga Springs (I am going to call DVC tomorrow and see if this is possible). Strollers are so much cheaper in U.S. than in Canada, so I figured haven't it delivered to resort would be a good idea.
Thanks, Tiger

I used travelingtikes.com. I paid $137 with free shipping and recieved my stroller in about 7 days with no problems. I researched alot of different websites and found travelingtikes to be the best prices plus the free shipping made it a really great deal. I ordered my 06 Triump in pink flag because of my DD. I even checked on Ebay, and the stroller was about $149 plus outrageous shipping cost. I hope the info. helps you out!!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I have happily used babyuniverse and chitchatbaby (I THINK chitchat only sells Combi strollers, but that may have changed). Barebabies and Albeebaby also get great reviews here. I appreciated that when my stroller color was backordered, chitchatbaby emailed me immediately. Sometimes when I order online, I don't find out that something has become unavailable for a long time, when it's too late to make changes (if I needed the item right away). Both sites I used shipped the same day and I had my strollers within 5 days.

Thanks! I am stuck between Albee Baby and Stroller World. Baby Dealz although it has the best price, is not an authorized Peg dealer, so I am not comfortable with ordering from them.
Thanks, Tiger

Just an FYI - Albee Baby and Babysurplus on eBay are one and the same.

I'd recommend www.strollandgo.com too.

Thanks for all suggestions. Have found that some are better priced than others. I do have a question though as I'm not into EBAY, how does one locate the Baby Surplus store? I tried to do a search, and couldn't find anything. Also, are these new strollers (with authorized warranty) that he can't sell on Albee Baby? Not sure I understand the whole concept of having an EBAY store and an online store at the same time.
For example, Albee Baby has stroller for $209.00, no tax & free shipping, but Baby Surplus has same stroller for $199.00 plus $25.00 shipping. What am I missing - obviously Albee Baby is a better deal for Buy It Now, so I am assuming that people save money by bidding?
Thanks, Tiger

As far as who is an authorized retailer, check the manufacturer's web site directly. Most will have a page that list authorized retailers. A lot of them are divided by state and have a section for online stores as well. For Maclaren, see this page (http://www.maclarenbaby.com/national/us_xl/index.php) and click on "where to shop" then on "find a retailer" in the upper left corner. I did a search by name for Albee Baby, www.albeebaby.com and AlbeeBaby and didn't turn up anything. I went to Albee's web site and saw that the brick and mortar store is Albee Baby Carriage...didn't find that either. Looked for their address and saw they were in New York so I did a search by state and found Albee's that matched their address so they are a Mac authorized retailer...it just took some digging to find out. For Peg Perego, they have a list of online retailers here (http://www.perego.com/CurrentBanners/JuvRandomXYZ.htm) or you can search by state here (http://www.perego.com/pages/juvretsearch.html). Albee Baby is not listed for online retailers but a search of NY stores does find Albee Baby Carriage.

I have gotten 3 strollers from babyage.com and found them to be very reasonably priced and quick shipping, sometimes even free.
