Please post here when your cards are in the mail and again as you receive cards and who you received from.

For those of you who are sending to someone who would like their cards left blank, then please include a little note in the envelope with your Dis name and your real name, so the person who receives them will know who they are from.

Mail out by 30th June please.

Can I Join In Looks Good Fun

Sorry, signups closed yesterday and all the names have gone out.. BUT.. if you send through your details and so long as you only want to send a couple of envelopes (3 postcards to one envelope/one person) then I may be able to squeeze you in.. I'd need to do some juggling, and prob won't be able to let you know until Mon or Tues.

Up to you... but just to let you know.. you need to send a minimum of 2 envelopes to 2 different people.

I chose not to write on any of mine, but I enclosed a letter with more details. The postcards that I got were too nice to mar them with a pen. I hope nobody minds.

I received postcards from Mickeyfan2 today. There are three lovely cards of Amish life and one of the Strasburg Railroad. She also sent me two brochures, one for The Amish Village and one for Wheatland. In addition to this, she wrote a letter that described each of the postcards.

Thank you Colleen! I would like to visit PA one day. Maybe once the kiddos are all grown up and we are empty nesting.

I got two packages today.

The first one is from Samantha (amazing grace). The postcards are Gloucester and one on Getting around in English lesson #16. Very enlightening! ;)

The second one is from April (fortheloveofdisney). She send me postcards from Delaware. They are from two cities (Newark and Dover), the A/F base and the ferry.

Yesterday, I received another envelope with postcards, from the UK, and it was from.... (now it starts to get embarassing) Amazing Grace? Is that possible? I know she has 4 kids, will get a dog when they come back from ther vacation to Florida, ... But I can't remember the nickname. This really is a sign I'm getting old.

I will check this evening (or call my mom and ask to look on the cards/ envelope!) and post it again tomorrow!

Anyways, it was a nice card with a building, a calendar-card for 2007 and one of the better jokes about the English manners. I was :rotfl:

Thank you very much for the cards!!!!

I received a set of postcards from Kirby yesterday.

I did like all the cards that I received, but these were extra special, because... they are from my dear beloved Texas. Yes, I LOVE Texas, I lost my heart to Texas, and one goal I want to reach in my life is move to Texas (not simple if you're not American, please, set up some dates with Texans for me, I'll let you know when I'll be there! ;) )
Not only were they from Texas, there were also cards from Grapevine, where I used to have friends, and where I used to spend quite some time during the summer. It was great to see it again, but it also hurted. Because at one point, my friends in Grapevine stopped responding to emails, cards, phone calls, ... and I don't know why :(

Thank you very very much for these cards!
