:( We live in NJ and haven't received any pin. Has anyone else out there NOT received theirs?

We have not gotten ours either! Why do you think that is? We are in Nutley, NJ. How much longer should we wait before we call? When was the first day people started getting them? We are about a week behind, aren't we?
Don't panic!! We just got ours in Kentucky yesterday.

I am in the process of joining(just sent in paperwork yesterday) and I asked my rep on the phone yesterday about them. She said everyone will be getting them, but if i dont get mine shortly, to call her back and she will talk to who is in charge of them. She said she has not received hers as of yet either. There are a lot of members to send them to she said.

What is the cut off date for being an owner to receive the pins? We became members in the middle of September, does anyone know if the list was taken before or after that date? Have not received anything yet and was just curious.

hi: we just got ours a couple days ago. good thing the envelope said dvc-it was pretty beat up looking.

Don't worry they have a lot of them to send out. I'm sure they will arrive soon. Ours just arrived yesterday.

Nothing here yet...no pins or new member guidebook. And we're usually on the early end of things...
No pins in Michigan either...........I'm sure they will show up on the day that I'm not thinking about them when I get the mail!!!
Lesley, I did get my guide book at the end of September and I thought it was one of the later ones. Have you called MS to check???

No pins or guidebook here, either -- and I live less than an hour from WDW!
Every member I know who lives near me, though, has received them - so I suspect I've fallen off the list, or something. :)
They say the "watched pot never boils," but I'm probably going to call today or tomorrow.
Those of you that "have" called - did you call your guide or MS?

I received them late last week in NJ. Be aware that there are some mail delays, particularly in NJ due to the problems with antrax in the Hamilton, NJ distribution center.

I am from NJ too. I don't really expect to receive the pins at this point. From a previous post it states that pins are no longer being sent out due to a legal reason. Our post office is in Trenton NJ and most of our mail is stuck there now anyway. So, if they are out there we may never see them until decontamination. Just hope all those postal workers are ok!!!

After reading the message about not sending any more pins, I, too, did not expect to get them, but they arrived yesterday! (Here in NJ). Hopefully, DVC will continue to send them to everyone.

Someone posted that the pins were stopped because some one told DVC that they thought the pins were in poor taste. Well, I sent an email to DVC thanking them for the pins and stating that my whole family thought they were a great way to show our support.
Poor taste!! No matter what one does there is always someone out there who will find fault. The following is the e-mail
we sent to the DVC the day we received our pins.
"We just received the two beautiful Mickey Flag pins today. We were at
our home in Old Key West Resort the week after the terrible attack but
were unable to buy these pins as they were sold out in all stores.
Other than the wonderful and memorable vacations we have had since
joining the Disney Vacation Club, this is the nicest benefit we have
received.
Thank you so very, very much"
They responded with a "Your Welcome"

In poor taste! That is most definitely a minority opinion! If people really thought that, these pins would not consistently sell out within minutes of arriving. We would not be seeing posts from people begging for someone to "pick one up for them if they see them". We would not see people reporting that strangers ask them where they got them!
I'm going to email my thank you right now!

We did not get ours yet. My cousin who lives on the western side of MI got theirs on Monday. I wonder why it is like that?? Don't fret...they will come eventually.

Just an FYI...I'm in Morris County & I got my pins on Monday. Friends nearby got theirs on Saturday. So who knows...maybe yours is still out there.

We live in NJ and just got ours yesterday. I'm sure they're on the way.
We got our pins on the day that I forgot all about it, 10/24/01. We are in the Detroit area.

I got my pins in central NJ on 10/17, the day they shut the post office down and sealed it.
