Darn!! I just checked the delivery schedule of the stuff that I ordered and it's showing Monday. I thought for sure that I'd have it on Friday.

So, what I'll do is get everything else ready and in the box, and then when the other stuff arrives on Monday, I'll pack that up and run it over to the Post Office. Luckily there is a big post office in Providence that is open until 9:00 pm every night, so I'll be able to get it in the mail on Monday.

There is an off-chance that my order could arrive early, but I'm probably not that lucky.

KT27...oops...that one was from me. The P.O. was out of Priority Mail boxes when I ran in. They only had the bags left. The post lady assured me that the stuff I was sending would be fine in a bag since it was not breakable or fragile...she didn't tell me they would mush it up to all get out.

Being that the boxes were gone, I got so off kilter, I forgot to enclose a note.

You didn't by chance also get the flipper that was enclosed did you? If not, some postal somebody somewhere is happily flipping pancakes and burgers right about now!! :( That was the most favorite of the favorites I included. :guilty: GRRR...just knew I shouldn't have mailed it until they had a box. *kicks self* (maybe that's what you meant by spatula...some people I know call the flippers spatualas...but I also sent a baking/scrapper spatula as well).

A scent eraser. (It's a stainless steal "bar of soap" that get rid of food smells from you hands!) I really have been wanting one since I cook with garlic and onion all the time!
A yellow scrubber that holds dish soap- very cool!
And a yellow hand towel with strawberries on it - I have a yellow kitchen!

So now my package is headed west!! (Living here in MA, pretty much everywhere is west.)

2 adjust-a-spoons....measuring spoons that slide for various measurements. Once goes from 1/2 tsp.-1 T. and one from 1/8 tsp.- 1 tsp.
These will be great for all my baking ::yes::
spoon rest that clips onto the side of the pot or pan. Looks neat and way less messy ::yes::
1/4 cup sngled measuring cup.....great for those small liquid jobs. My DIL has the set like these. Very nice and useful :)

Yea!! I'm glad it arrived. And that you liked everything. Funny though, I debated (with myself) over including a zester since I use mine a lot. But I decided to include some of my more "obscure" gadgets. Then I read you sent a zester to your buddy, so I was glad I talked myself out of it!!

Anyway, I got an awsome package filled with all sorts of Pampered Chef gadgets from kelleigh1, aka Raquel, who just happens to be a Pampered Chef consultant. I got:

a can strainer (something I have looked at before, but never bought!)
a measure all cup that can be used for liquids or solids

Oh the irony...I respond to this post about how most of my packages go east because I live out west, and who ends up being my exchange buddy???

Anyway, I got an awsome package filled with all sorts of Pampered Chef gadgets from kelleigh1, aka Raquel, who just happens to be a Pampered Chef consultant. I got:

a can strainer (something I have looked at before, but never bought!)
a measure all cup that can be used for liquids or solids

Well I apparently missed this post. Glad you liked everything and that arrived QUICK! I mailed it on Saturday morning. I didn't tell my hubby that I sent you some of the rub. He may have tried to steal it out of the box before I sent it. Those rubs are awesome. We use them all the time - on chicken and steak and there is a citrus basil one that is fabulous on shrimp. Luckily, I bought 2 last time I ordered some and I always know where to get more. :teeth:

Sometimes I think finding the extras is fun. Seeing the things that other people included though gets me thinking about things I could have sent, or want to find for myself.

I definitely spent more than $5, but I get a discount on the Pampered Chef stuff, so I didn't break that bank. And this was the perfect exchange for me since I am a consultant and have some great gadgets and it gave a chance to share stuff that I love with someone else.

Geez, you guys are getting some kind of rain in your state! Luckily, it never really rained on our activities...mainly just sprinkles. We toured Amish country (Lancaster/Hershey area) and spent some time with our friends in Pittsburgh. It rained quite a bit in Pittsburgh this am but most of the time it was just cloudy or light sprinkles during our trip. I didn't get to visit Philadelphia this trip but I will definitely do that next time. Maybe I'll get to see some sun in Pennsylvania next trip. :teeth:

I must have put it in her pkg by accident. But yes it is a loaf pan, I recieved a few at my shower of the muffin tins & cake pans. I talked to hubby a little while ago. He's home and has gotten the mail already - no packages today either.

I suspected this would happen eventually with an exchange. I blame the post office. They are awful in my town. I can't tell you how many times I haven't gotten things that people had sent to me. A friend was sending me a package which included a CD she'd burned for our wedding in Jamaica (along with a couple other wedding things) which we needed before we flew out. It never arrived and she had to burn a new one, then overnight it for Sunday delivery so we'd get it in time. And that's just one example.
