Car Rental for Christmas

Hi -

I've been searching for a rental car at a reasonable rate for the week of 12/25. I've seen so many high rates that I finally found one that was somewhat reasonable. Using a code I found on mousesavers.com, I was able to get a full-size through AVis for $190 including all taxes. Not a great rate, but $60 cheaper than my EA reservation with BOTH my DC discount and the DC coupon. Has anyone been able in the last couple of weeks gotten a better rate with EA? I really like EA and the convience, since I'm traveling with two small children. Not a big deal though, if I have to run down to the counter while DH gets the bags!!! Please let me know what you're rate is, and if I can find a better one out there. We do want a car rental company on the airport, so all off-site locations are out.

We just used L&M car rental ( in the terminal, next to Dollar) We had a rate of $220/week for minivan. I found their number on Mousesavers. I was very skeptical about using this company because I have never heard of them. But...everything went great. I would try them.

I got $218 on the EA all inclusive. To me, worth the $28 not to have to deal with lines. Keep in mind that the rates right now seem to be middle of the road, and your are traveling prime time! Here it is:

I got $180 for 12/17 to 12/26 including all taxes, fees, etc. using DC contract number and the Entertainment book coupon.
