I got upgrade to club level, yeah me!

after filling out a survey from our last visit in may I recieved an email asking if their was anything they could do on my next stay to please let them know. Well I replied to the email and simply asked if we could be upgraded from my AAA rate to club level. Well I did not really think I would get it but thought it was worth a try. I received the reply to my reply and she said she would be more than happy to upgrade me for free to club level and thanked me for continueing my patronage at their hotel. We are going during veterans weekend and only staying for one night so this extra perk is extremely nice.

Print out your correspondence and write down names of those you spoke with "just in case". I know someone who was promised a free night on his next trip and when he arrived, there was no record of this. He had all his emails printed out and they honored what he was promised. This was at HRH.

I received my confirmation and correction with price about 4 or 5 days ago. Thanks for the advice and I will be sure to print it out and take it with me.
