Just booked our first trip to WDW (and Florida)!!!! :sunny:

We are going economy with Virgin from Gatwick, staying at Bahama Bay for 14 nights :) 1-15 Feb 2007. DH has insisted on a Luxury car, does anyone know if this class includes SUVs?

We may upgrade to PE on the way back, but it does seem a lot of money.... It was about £200 cheaper to go (economy) on Thursday instead of Friday.

We definitely want to go to Seaworld and Kennedy Space Centre as well as all the Disney Parks. Probably not Universal this time as we are not big coaster fans and I don't want to pack too much in! :teeth:

I'm very excited!!!!

we were getting really tired when we last went because i wanted to try and cram as much in 2 weeks as possible becasue i hadn't been for over 10 years so we just slotted in a day in both water parks in between the other parks as chilled days - well if you can call going summit plummit chilled :thumbsup2

PChef,

Congrats! You'll love it!

SUV's aren't classed in the luxury category - they tend to sit on their own. Luxury cars are normally Chrysler 300-style cars - big, comfy, thirsty. SUVs are two grades above luxury for medium sized, four grades above for full-sized. :goodvibes

Good for you!

will this be your first time in America? If so, please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have, as we enjoy British visitors a great deal.

We upgraded from an intermidiate to a SUV on our last trip, Dollar offered my husband the upgrade for $10 a day (and he couldn.t refuse!!!)

Be advised the SUV's are huge!!! and we only averaged about 15 miles to the gallon, although great fun to drive.

Last year petrol was just hitting $2 a gallon, I think its more than that now (some one else more informed may be able to help).

Hope this helps

Gas is closer to $3 a gallon now. I wouldn't get an SUV unless you need one! Have fun!

My girls (from Kansas) absolutely love to listen to the British accents when we are getting off of rides. We all still say "Oh dear, that one bit was frightful" every time we get off of BTMRR! My dd(7 at the time) thought that the woman we heard say that sounded like someone out of one of her princess movies!!! :goodvibes She asked my husband if they spoke English in England and then caught herself and said "Oh, that's right they do. They just say things nicer than people who live in the United States do." I have to admit that she is kinda right from what I've heard!
