What size should I post (to my site) for 8 x 10 prints

Uploads to smugmug are taking longer since moving up 3 MP. I think it is time I "resize for web". What is a good size to post that will still print a nice 8x10?
I plan to leave a very loose crop so when people print 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 there is room to adjust the print window without something or someone being cropped.
