December DisMates?

Hey all! Is there any interest in a December DisMates get together? Mousefest is on the 7-12 and a few DisMates folks are planning to be there. Looking at a December the 10th meet. A couple possibilities: a night at the AC (9:00), meeting somewhere before hand (Raglan Road?) to say hi. Or maybe Margaritas and a trip around the world (at Epcot). Place your vote and lets have a DisMates meet!

Yep. Megamouse meet is the 9th. Trying to avoid that date just to prevent conflicts (plus I might just check it out!). Looking at Sunday the 10th for a DM meet.

Usually opt for "Wishes" my first nite....but will go to MK early and meet ya'll that nite.

It will be fun to actually SEE everyone!

Wish I could. I'll be there around that time, but doing the land and sea cruise and will be on board the 7th through the 10th. At the world the 3rd through the 7th.

As a possible alternative....we could meet at MK and run EMH together!

I'll be getting there the 10th and would be fun to meet more Disney fans on that day. I wasn't planning on using a ticket into the parks on that day as I can't check into and park my camper until 1 PM...Keep me informed I may alter my plans a bit...sounds like fun... princess: DJ

...will be held at either the Walt Disney World Swan or Walt Disney World Dolphin on Saturday, December 9, usually from 1-3 pm EST. It's a gathering of Disney fans, guidebook authors and Website owners. We meet and talk Disney for a couple hours, and there are usually prizes to be given away. The MegaMouse Meet is usually the focal point of the land portion of MouseFest. Past attendees included people from the DIS; Dave Card of Tagrel.com; Bob Sehlinger and Len Testa from the Unofficial Guide; Jim Hill of jimhillmedia.com; and Matt Hodgeberg, Mike Newell, and Mike Scopa who panel the outstanding (as opposed to insitting) podcasts for WDW Today. Scopa writes the excellent "Scoping The Parks" columns on Mouseplanet.com You can get more information on the meet at www.mousefest.org.

TiggerTails57: The meet I'm cohosting with my friend Carol (zakerdog on Tagrel.com) from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, is called Brunch At The Ball. Held at the Electric Umbrella at 10:30 am on the day of the MegaMeet, it was, until recently, exclusively a meet for members of Tagrel.com, on which I am known as Jimbolini1963. Last year's meet attracted more than 100 people, where we ate, talked, hugged, took pictures and drew for prizes. A Karaoke meet hosted by my friend Debi from Rhode Island (ddoll on Tagrel.com) at Kimono's sushi bar in the Walt Disney World Swan, takes place at around 9:00 pm the night of the MegaMeet.

I was asked a great question about the Dec. meet last night. Once we meet, get shot (photo, that is) and hit POTC--then what?

How about a speed dating trip on TTA (ok, "TTA" and "speed" don't really go together, but...) ladies stay in the cars and the guys move one car down each time we get back to the station. :dance3:
