Tire cover

Is it really available again? And if so what is the design on it? Anybody know? Anybody seen it? My parents were down there about six weeks ago and they didnt have any but said they were coming in again but didnt know when. Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

Last week I saw one at Meadow Trading Post. I don't remember exactly what it has on it. I do remember that it had Ft. Wilderness written on it and that it was black, but I didn't even look at the price since we are getting a metal cover to match our Airstream.

I got one two weeks ago at the Meadow Trading Post. It is on a black background, as was stated above, with a graphic of Micky in the coonskin cap and leather clothes with a long walking stick. The same design is on some refridgerator magnets and beach towels. It also says "Fort Wilderness".

They were on display just inside the main door not on the lake side of the TP but on the road side. They came in either a 28- or 30-inch diameter, both sizes were 8-inches wide, and either size cost $50 plus tax.

I was generally pleased to see the amount of FW-labelled merchandise in the TP. I have felt on past trips that FW does not get the attention it deserves in terms of themed merchandise. I'm not willing to pay some of the TP prices on some items.

I put it on the rear spare of my pop-up as soon as I bought it but when I travelled home I put the manufacturer's cover over it to remove temptation from someone during the long trip home. :wave:

Check out this auction on ebay. This seller has a couple of sizes available. At least you can see a photo. :)

Thanks for the photo. It looks really nice. Wish I could get the old one again but beggars cant be choosers. I'll have to give Disney merchandising a call.

If you really want one of the older ones, keep an eye on Ebay. :surfweb: I have picked up 3 different tire covers there, in new condition, with different designs. :teeth:

I am here at WDW now, and the Meadows Trading Post has them for $50. I just looked at them tonight, but they don't have any that will fit my tires... :furious:
