He's a small 9 year old. hehe. They are a little big but he likes them that way. He is especially excited now b/c DH explained that the mavericks are in the national championship (i think???) and he could have a champion team's shirt! I don't keep up with that sports stuff so I have no idea what's going on... but it's nice to see him so excited.. and about something like a couple of t-shirts! hahahahaaaaaa :goodvibes

I got a wonderful pick me up package from Meriweather! (Nancy). I tink it came on Saturday.

I've been quite sick and bedridden for days. On a really strong anti biotics and cough syrup. The package was great. I'll do a tally later! Loved the Las Vegas stuff!.

Now today, DH is having to go do my shopping for me....I'm just not capable today. He'll take the cell phone and describe stuff to me. If it's not good, I'll send it back. What an adventure. Wish him luck, he's trying!

:) Ok, here's my update which is kind of funny and that's why I'm posting it.

I got a shirt this past weekend, but I wasn't thrilled with it. So I know of this great little shop that has wonderful Iowa stuff but it's closed on the weekend. No problem, I'm getting my tooth pulled on Monday and I'll just have my Mom take me over there after my procedure. Yeah, right. I'm a big baby, really so they have to put me to sleep to pull my tooth and then gave me a pain pill that knocks you out. My mom still took me to the shop, she said I assured her I was fine. She also said she kept expecting to find me in a pile on the floor.....poor mom! But I shopped. Brought it home, packed it and asked my husband to ship it. Went to bed. I slept until yesterday at noon. I talked to my DH and he said he hadn't mailed it yet. I said that's fine, I can't remember what I bought so I wanted to see it. Came into work, unwrapped the package and was surprised at what the contents were..... :rotfl2: I hope my person likes Iowa things, lol. BUT guess what else was in the package???????? My LOST CELL PHONE!!!! :lmao: :rotfl: Can you even imagine why it was in there??? I sure can't remember. Thankfully I wanted to see the t shirt before I sent it.

So off it goes today, shipped. Only thing I can say is don't participate in DIS exchanges while on drugs. I guess that would make me a drug induced DIS exchanger. :lmao: I'll probably have to sign some sort of waiver next time stating I won't do drugs while exchanging.

Don't feel bad. Sending extras aren't mandatory. And you only had to send one shirt as long as you spent $10. You did what the exchange required.

Since there are so many exchanges going on at the same time, we try to keep spending down to a minimum so more people can participate. So if you just sent what was required by the exchange, you did just fine. :goodvibes

Almost forgot....Carol received her t-shirt yesterday from Tamarap's DS. She got a Mickey and Minnie postcard plus a pink VC Riverside t-shirt. Carol says THANK YOU, STEPHEN!

Katie got her shirt last week from Dylan, who is Wenbel's Son. She got a sweet Maine Shirt with a Moose and flowers that she adores. It is a little bit too big, but she has insisted on wearing it twice already! Perfect!

Oh she LOVED it! The shirt size is perfect I think. It is big, but she can wear it around the house and to bed, which is her preference, and it will fit quite nicely next year, I think! I love shirts that make it two years!

To all those who have sent to PixieDust and her family, due to the bad weather, they have had some water damage at their home and were forced to stay in a hotel for a couple of days. Hopefully we will hear soon that their packages have arrived.

It was from MinnieM3 aka Beth. It had a wonderful lime green t-shirt w/
flip flops that says "Isle of Palms, SC". (Too funny because I was in Hilton Head Isl last weekend and saw a t-shirt w/flip flops and almost bought it)
My package also had 2 Charleston postcards and a Charleston magnet which my DS really loved and tried to keep for himself, LOL!

Well, thank god mot much, just the carpet and some furniture, but the mess of moving things around, and the pile of junk that I didn't know I had :crazy:

Oh good! I am very glad to hear that she didn't think that the bows were goofy. Right before we mailed the package I started wondering if she was too old for them. I wore bows in High School, but that was the 1980's and we all looked silly anyway. :) I didn't bother to learn to make them until I had my own Daughter, though!

Anyway, I am glad that it all got there okay and that she liked it!

Yes, you absolutely correct, no acknowledgment at all. If Kirby didnt' pm the person to find out, I would of never known he received it, besides my delivery confirmation. Like I said in my above post, its just plain rude.
Ive dont many exchanges, and this is the first time somebody couldn't take 2 seconds out of their day to say "thanks, I got it"... It almost makes me not want to do anymore exchanges. I wish I was warned ahead of time about this person, I would of requested NOT to have his name.
Sorry, Im just irked. It took me time to find this tshirt as it was a speciality size, then not to even have simple thanks,makes me mad.
