Hi all,
We will be arriving May 12 and have our 13 year old twins, a 2 year old son and a 4 month old. I have read about switching off and are thankful for that option. My question is about the tamer rides, such as small world. Can we all go on together?

Can you go on these rides with a baby? He will probably be in a carrier most of the time.

Thanks for all the help. You guys are great.

We took our 3.5 and 5 month old in Feb. At the MK we went on almost everything together. Peter Pan, Small World, Pirates, Lion King, Snow White, Tiki Birds, thats all I can remember off the top of my head. At AK we went on the safari, tarzan show, lion king show, bug's life. At Epcot, Honey I shrunk the audience and may others. At MGM, we went to Bear in the big blue house, little mermaid, doug.

Hope this helps. It really seemed we all spent most of the time together at all parks.

We brougt our snugli (carrier) and it was a life saver.

You can usually take the baby on any ride without a height requirement!

What kind of carrier do you mean? As long as it's a sling or something that attaches to your body, you should be fine on almost any ride that doesn't have restrictions. I'm guessing you don't mean a carrier that is also a car seat and sometimes fits on a stroller--I don't think those would be save on most rides.

You'll probably have an easier time with the baby than the toddler on some rides. The baby won't know to be scared on rides like Haunted Mansion or Pirates.

If you have a baby sling or snugli, bring it. That way you can hold the baby in line or on the rides and still use your hands.

I went to WDW with a 4 month old. She had great head control and we did everything that did not have a height requirement (with the sling), including Buzz, Dumbo and the Safari. The Safari is a bit bumpy and you may want to skip it if your baby is a wobbly.

Also ... make sure to do at least one character meal. The characters love babies.

Robin B,

Thanks, we're doing the character breakfast at the animal kingdom. It should be great. We are all so excited.

I took my three month old to EPCOT and was able to take her in her car seat on every ride except Body Wars. It was easy!

We took him on almost every ride in my front carrier (an over the shoulder type...Baby Bjorn). He rode on Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Carribbean, Buzz Lightyear, It's a small World, Snow White. With him in the carrier, I felt safer knowing that he was attached to me. I did not take him on Dumbo (we were trying to take a nap!!) and the cars, etc. Dad did a lot of switching with us, but I wanted our little one to be able to experience something. Highly recommend a character meal....we did Winnie the Pooh at Crystal Palace. Our two year old was wild for it.
Have fun!
