this is a pic taken at my 21's birthday last december :yay:
It was a "mad hatters party", everyone had to wear a hat, ANY hat!!!
And this is a group shot of those who came with disney hats, (well at least as a disney character)

Lets see: thers sorcerer mickey, the mad hatter, merrywheater, golden mickey (this is me joel), the blue fary, bride minnie and groom mickey.
This party was so much fun, there where a lot of ridiculous hats and everybody had a blast. I think this is my best birthday ever, I was just expecting like 35 of my friends to come but like 55 or 60 of them where here. Such a good time :yay: :bounce:

Here is a photo of myself with my DS. I have a Minnie Santa hat on. DS has the light up Sorcerer's hat. This photo was taken in the morning on the way to the bus stop. We were at POFQ and in the little garden near Building 4. We're sitting on a bench.

I talked my 12 yo son into letting me take his photo in a girl Viking hat with blonde braids. I told him I'd buy him a plastic Viking shield if he did. The scowl on his face is so funny. I'm not allowed to post it. :rotfl:

this is from my first trip ever to disneyworld 1993 :woohoo: , it was taken I think in MGM, its me and andrea (my cousin), I was 9 years old and she was 6. I really dont know where those hats ended, I wish I would have kept them.

Yes, it did!

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), we had DH's Groom's cake later that night and our wedding cake the next day! Our wedding cake is atually being featured in a bridal magazine!

I talked my 12 yo son into letting me take his photo in a girl Viking hat with blonde braids. I told him I'd buy him a plastic Viking shield if he did. The scowl on his face is so funny. I'm not allowed to post it. :rotfl:

Yes, girls are trouble. DD was born with a teen's attitude! She drives me nuts sometimes. Also gotta worry about ds and girls. Girls always like him. He is really silly and cute. Last year he would get chased and kissed. Also, in line at ToT, some teenaged girls took a pic with him. They thought he was so cute nd could not believe he was going on that scary ride!

As far as I remember, those were the only pumpkin hats they had. I was on the lookout for Halloween merchandise, so I know others would have stood out had they had them.

They sold those pumpkin mickey hats almost everywhere. The store we saw with the most Halloween merchandise was the Halloween store by the Haunted mansion that makinorlando mentioned.

This is a pic of them in the hat store in the corner by the Exposition hall (the right corner of the square with the train station at MK. The girl and boy pirate Mickey ears were also new this year (as part of the barrage of Pirate merchandise they have out!).

I have heard that you can get pirate hats, like Jack Sparrow's, and decorate them with patches. Is this only near Pirate of the Caribbean or is it at Downtown Disney too at the World of Disney store? I want to get one and was hoping to have one before going to MK! :thumbsup2

I'm glad that they brought back the Figment hat. We had bought one in the 80's for my older son. My younger son wore on one of his first trips and it got knocked off his head on the boat ride from MK to FW. The next boat retrived it and brought it back to us. The captain rode up to the dock with the wet hat on his head. This is one of our favorite Cm story.
