The time has come that we have all been waiting for!! Time to pick a movie time!!

If you have no preferrence, just state so in a reply!! Thanks!!
For the rest of you, pick a time.

As for myself and the family, we have our huge Brownie Troop Backyard Campout ending that morning. So a early-ish morning movie time was out of the question, and since I'm the planner of the meet I get to choose!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: ;)

Just to recap some details: :3dglasses

Our family will arrive as early as possible to start saving movie theatre seats.
We will mark ends of rows with signs.
Please try to arrive early so that we are all in the same theatre #, who know how many screens they are showing the movie on !!
We will leave one of us up front to hand out name tags so look for a sign holding DISer!! It will be obvious!! :teeth:
We will eat a late lunch/early dinner (what ever you want to call it :teeth: ) after the movie at Yorktown Mall in the food court. As you arrive at the food court PLEASE START SAVING SEATS!!! :thanks: Don't be shy!!!...save those seats!!!

If you are going to WDW this fall, as many of us are, feel free to bring along your planning info, ADR's, planning tips & suggestions, or anything else to discuss!!
Bring your latest WDW trip pictures!!
Bring stuff for the kids so they don't get bored!!! Games, coloring books, whatever!! Who knows how long we'll be there! :woohoo: :yay: :chat:

Don is not much for meets, either. He feels "out of place" at times because he doesn't really know anyone. Don will probably feel more comfortable when Dan Murphy and/ or Jeff Fulcer is there, since we met them before.

I have the ice show to do, and I already saw Cars (it was good :thumbsup2 ), so I won't be going to the movie. But I'm thinking that I'll do the evening show, so I can probably go to the meet for the first hour or so. :confused3 And since I'm not going to the movie I can try to get some seats saved for us. I just found this posting and I am from the area with a trip planned to Pop 8/9-8/21. I would love to join everyone if it is not too late. I am not positive I will be able to come but if I just show up for the 2:30 movie would it be ok? If I am reading right it is 2:30 movie at Yorktown mall with dinner in the mall food court after. Is this for Saturday?

Scott is the same way. Geoff has already said that he is going to see another movie at the theater , so maybe Scott will come too but he won't talk to anyone 'cause these are "internet people".. We had a DIS meet at MK a few years ago and he just sat far away and wouldn't say Boo to anyone.

The movie is 1 hour and 56 minutes long. And we will be going to the mall right afterwards. So 4:30-4:45ish everyone will be at the food court.

I just went on the Yorktown Lombard AMC 18 link that Bunchkin has on hte first page. I was going to order the movie tickets online for my family, when I found for tomorrow there is no 2:30 pm movie time :furious: There is a 1:45 pm and 3:45 pm showing of Cars for Sat. It looks like the newer movie, Nacho Libre took the 2:30 pm slot :sad2:. I'm hoping the times will change back to how it was? But I don't think so.
Bunchkin, I guess you will have to let us know what time we are doing the movie part? I'm hoping for hte 3:45 pm time slot, since I'm pretty sure we can't make the 1:45pm slot. I know my family and I would not make it to hte 1;45 pm because we have something going on before the meet tomorrow and my familyand I have not seen Cars yet, we were waiting for hte Dismeet to see this movie :guilty: .

Just to point out that it is AMC 17, not 18. That is a different theatre, don't go there, it's for adults only.
