disney vs universal hours

does anyone know if Universal have cut their hours?

They will have shorter park hours beginning on the 28th, according to their site (http://www.universalstudios.com/globalnav/gnf.pl?url=http%3A//www.universalstudios.com/themeparks/html/orlando/parkinfo/hours/&referrer=). Usually the parks would be closing at either 6 or 7, depending on the park and whether it's a weekday or a weekend, but starting the 28th both parks will close at 5. The exceptions to this are Thanksgiving week when the parks will again close at 6 or 7, and Halloween Horror Nights when USF closes to the general public at 5:30 (IOA will still close at 5).

For now that's the schedule up through December 15th, when they start adding hours for the holiday crowds.
