Room fridge at HRH and RPH?

We are staying at both hotels in a couple of weeks (I can't wait!). Are there small refrigerators in the rooms at the hotels that we can use for water, soda, etc? or is there one just for mini bar use - could I take everything out that belongs to the mini bar, stash my stuff and just replace the mini bar stuff when we leave?

I was at HRH last week. They have something called a Refreshment Pantry. It required a key, and I am guessing that you had to ask for it. We brought a cooler. I thought I read somewhere they would empty it for a fee. Someone should be able to clarify that.

RPH does have a minibar (well they did in club level room) you just ask for the key. I used it to store sodas etc. , there was enough room without taking the minibar items out.

When we were at HRH last December, there was a minibar in the room. There was enough room to add drinks and a few snacks without taking any of the minibar stuff out. You just have to ask for the key when you check in. They usually ask you if you would like the key. If you forget, you can stop by the front desk at any time to request a key.
