Can anyone recommend some good restaurants in Vero Beach? This will be our first time there.

I haven't had any bad meals yet but ones I particularly liked were Hirmana's ( an authentic Mexican), Jack BAker's Lobster shanty. Mr Manatees gets good reviews. If you ever want just a pizza there is a nice take out next to the resort.

The restaurants on site are very nice but IMHO a little pricey.

Our family votes for Capt. Hiriam's and Mr. Manatee's. The early bird special of salmon was reasonable and delicious at Mr. Manatee's. The Sunday brunch on site was worth the price. I know the Lobster Shanty has a fantastic review in the AAA book, but we were disappointed. Good luck.
