annual pass question

i recall reading that a deluxe annual pass certificate can be redeemed on a blackout date. is this true? i have one and am wondering if i can do this.

I'm not really sure I understand what you're asking. If you mean that you have a NEW deluxe pass and would like to use it for the first time on a day that would generally be a blackout day for the D pass, you are correct. You can use ANY pass on ANY day for the first use. Blackouts apply after the ticket is redeemed for a pass.
