Can anyone confirm this?

I've read in Disneyland rumors that there's a basketball court at the top inside the Matterhorn. It said on a rumor page it was a lie, but I think I read in a post recently that it's true. So, can anyone confirm this? :thumbsup2

Yes it's true. I know there a few theores about why it is up there, one being b/c they couldn't get a permit or a certificate or occupancy from the city of Anaheim unless the building had some sort of reason for being there. I think it was the tallest structure at the time, so they just put a half court (if that) up there. I think maybe the mountain climbers used to play some games up there on break.
I don't listen very well so that's why I'm not 100 percent on why it is up there but I know there is one up there.

I did see a show (I think on the Travel Channel) thatdid indeed show the court. It is very small, more like just the key and a basket.
