Summer window decorating box - POP

If you will be at POP this summer join our growing list of Disers that want to PARTY! :banana: Ok well at least decorate our POP windows with style, DIS style.

August is pretty full but if you are earlier in the summer and want to get things rolling sooner feel free! If not I will get the party started August 5th.

Yes, this is what we decorate the windows with and with lights and pretty much anything you can think of!! halloween stuff, summer stuff, christmas and so on and so forth!

We are seeing if there are people interested that are going during the summer and staying at POP if they are interested in doing a revolving box of sorts!! BUT we need a couple people to start boxes. If you are BEFORE the first date in the first post and are willing to START a box of your own then please let us know here!!

If your dates overlap some don't worry about it just sign up here and we will attempt to start a couple boxes. All you need to do is bring stuff to decorate your window with and then put it in a bag/box and put the next DISers name (first and real last name) and leave it at the front desk upon check out!! if everyone adds to the box as they come it will be full of fun decorations :)

A basic starter box should have at least:
tape
scissors (safety ones are fine)
paper

and from there people can get creative!! any questions just PM Bobcat or myself!! have a great day and happy decorating!! i will find the links to the other sites ASAP!

We'll be at POP from August 16-23. I'd love to get in on this, if for no other reason than to prove to my family I'm not crazy in wanting to decorate our door. I already have a couple dozen alien green mickey paint samples.

Okay, I'm in! After a bazillion trips to stores, this is what I have come up with:

1 pair scissors
2 rolls of Scotch tape
2 rolls of lime green streamers
6 window decorations (3 are cut from a HB banner and 3 are bigger made of posterboard type material. All have characters on them)
A bunch of Home Depot Mickey heads in both Alien Green and Sonic Boom green
A plush Mickey doll to sit in the window
a bag to put it all in (sorry, it's not a box, I don't know how I would fit a box into my suitcase as we are flying down)

I am working to find a string of Christmas lights but they are pretty hard to locate in July! Hope this is an okay start...I have never done this before so am open to any and all suggestions as to what to add.

Yep, it got off the ground and the boxes were passed around quite a bit! It was moved to another thread. I think I just bumped it a while ago. Good '06 memories....
