Evie's first trip - day 6, pt 1!

Day 6 (part 1)

We lie in bed till 9 then we are out and on our way to EPCOT at around 10am. (mum and dad go to Universal today, we plan to meet up this evening).

We stop off at the baby room first to give Evie her lunch and end up buying her a sleeping Minnie which plays a lullaby and a Minnie rattle (which she loves and smiles at all the time!). Back to the world showcase for us and we head through Mexico to Norway to have lunch. I have a jarlsburg and ham sandwich and si has a salmon sandwich. I wanted to take note of all the beautiful plants for the festival today as we didn’t have much time to take notice last time.

We see a troll in Norway and a panda in china!

As we are going round we are making mental notes of things we want to purchase on our next circuit round! I see a lovely jewellery box for my mum in Italy and Simon sees some pictures in USA. In Morocco we meet Alladin and then relax for 10 minutes.

We stop at the Rose and Crown (again!) for a cool down and both have a drink. Then it’s over to Test Track again. I have another go on this whilst Si stays with Evie. Then it’s one more circuit round the world. We go on the Mexico ride, which Evie enjoys, especially the fireworks on the ceiling. (!!!!!) We buy the trinket box for my mum in Italy and simon gets two pictures in the USA, one of EPCOT and one of the Rose and Crown!!!

We were planning to go home at this point, stopping off at Club Cool for some drinks. As we came out we noticed a character point, which some how we had missed before. It was just wonderful!!! We met Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Goofy. The place was practically empty, so Evie was totally fussed over. She even gave Minnie a smile. I was all tearful and have to say it was one of the best parts of the whole holiday. As a certain law would have it, our camera ran out of batteries at this point, so I have no photos, but there are some wonderful photo pass ones which I will post when they arrive.

Very happy, we headed back to the villa.

She even gave Minnie a smile. I was all tearful and have to say it was one of the best parts of the whole holiday.

I can imagine - how lovely (and btw why do cameras ALWAYS do that. Mine died when DD met Eeyore :confused3 )

I agree, it's lovely to meet all the characters and be out of the heat for a while. I look forward to seeing the photopass photos, though your photos are lovely too :)
