Hi Everyone,

Been to Disneyland a million times, DW once, and am going to be coming to DLR in Sept (probably Weds, Sept 27th) for a quick visit. Here are some quick questions:

- How busy is it going to be?
- Is it worth a day of Paris traveling (will only be there 4 days total)
-What are the can't miss attractions?
-What are the good places to eat/ treats?
-How does it compare to Disneyland?

Thanks!

Mary

- How busy is it going to be?

A Wednesday when school has started again? It won't be that busy. But keep in mind the park won't be opn late either!

- Is it worth a day of Paris traveling (will only be there 4 days total)

That is something only you will be able to answer. What do you want to visit in Paris? How much of a Disney-fan are you?
I think DLP is a very beautiful park, that every Disney-fan should have experienced, because it has some unique features.

-What are the can't miss attractions?

This is just my opinion, and I'm not going to include the Studios.
- Castle + dragon. You can walk up the stairs, see the story of Sleeping Beauty, look out over Fantasyland. then you can walk down and visit the dragon, he's great!
- Phantom Manor. Try to read the story behind the ride before you go (www.doombuggies.com) It's a great variation on the US versions of this!
- Big Thunder mountain. It's on an island, which involves you going under the water!
- Pirates of the Caribbean. It's just different :)
- Le pays des comtes de fées and/ or Casey Jr. These are among my favourites because they give you a great view of the Beast's castle!!! I think it's so pretty!!!
- iasm. I know, dolls from hell, but DLP has a USA-section, which is unique!! Also, try to catch the doll-parade outside every 15-minutes!
- Space Mountain, if you're up for great thrills.

I also like the parade a lot. I am not sure if fantillusion is planned for when you will be there, if it is, don't miss it. If you stand in front of the castle; you get two stops!

-What are the good places to eat/ treats?

L'auberge de Cendrillon. If you want the slipper, ask for it. they will charge you extra though.
Walt's. I love the place!!!

-How does it compare to Disneyland?

I like it just as much as Disneyland, although I think DLP is more detailed. Of course, each has its unique rides. I went first to DL and only after two visits of DL I went to DLP, and I fell in love with it immediately!!

Sorry if I'm being a bit slow  but are you staying in Paris and visiting DLP for the day, or the other way round? Though I would say that either way is worth doing - it only takes about 40 mins to travel between the two places. :)
