:jester: I will be visiting WDW on 10/24 and am wondering how the Food and Wine Festival is doing? Any comments regarding the food kiosks....If someone has a listing of what foods are being offered, please post it. I am also doing the food and wine pairings private dinner on Thursday. I hear it was fantastic from what I read last year. I am really looking forward to this event. I missed it last year and did the Flower show in the spring (which was great!)

Also, I forgot to ask about how the early closing of future world at Epcot affects navigating to and from World Showcase?

I didn't count, but there are at least 20% fewer kiosks this year compared to last...this translates into LONG lines....Some are combined (e.g. Australia and New Zealand), but some are TOTALLY missing...no Greece, no Brazil, and the one I missed the most: no "Marketplace"...I don't understand that one...that's the one that had a different WDW restaurant each day...it was GREAT publicity...try a sample from the restaurant, then go there another time for a full meal...I really really missed that kiosk..the first kiosk as you enter WC is Mexico on the East and Canada on the west...that means there are at least 4 gone from last year...
One positive note: there are MORE of the advanced (STILL FREE!) wine tastings...still some at Morocco, but newly added ones at Innoventions West...had a super time there!!! So that's one good plus!

There's a thread about this on the Restaurant Board and one on the RADP news group. All posters tend to back up what Suzanne says about fewer booths and very long lines.
