This is my first post so bear with me! ;)
I have only recently begun Milesource, My Points, SuzyKats and Blink. I am loving watching my points add up, and appreciate all the help I have gotten from reading these boards. My question is this. When I look at what the redemptions are I am curious what you all think are the best for a WDW vacation? Do the Web certificates some of the sites have work to buy Park passes or for the hotel bill? Also, is it better to cash out at a low amount or a higher one? It would make me feel better to have something in my hand, but maybe you can only use one at a time so it is better to get a higher value one?

Glad you joined us on the Rewards Board.

The best rewards to cash out for depends on your plans for your WDW vacation. Webcertificates are great because you can use them anywhere they accept Mastercard. A webcertificate isn't a certificate at all, it's a prepaid Mastercard . You can add to it as you redeem for WCs from rewards propgrams. You can only spend up to the amount you have in your account. When you set up a webcertificate account, you'll be issued a Mastercard account number. You can use that number over the phone to make payments towards the balance on your room at any WDW resort. If you want to use your webcertficate offline, you have to get the plastic webcertficate card which has a one time fee of $6.95 (last time I looked). This will allow you to use your webcertficate to pay for park passes, restaurants, souveniers, etc.

If you are staying offsite, you might want to redeem for some restaurant gift certificates. There are lots of chain restaurants in the WDW area.

When to cash out has always been a problem. I almost always cash out as soon as I can. There's always the possibility that a program will close or increase the amount of points needed to cash out. That's almost always done without notice and it really burns me!
