Can someone tell me what DH, DS, DM etc are? I see them everywhere...I presume they mean family members...but - someone put me out of my misery! :badpc:

Or just add your own favourite "D" adjective. The dear doesn't always seem applicable!!!!!!

When the Disney discussions aren't going her way, my wife prefers the word "Dopey". It does have a Disney ring to it....

I'm a rebel so I dont use them. It makes me feel like I'm stuck in a fifties sit-com.

I also agree with this. Can't people just type out who they are talking about?

I don't use it either. It gets too confusing when DS means both sister and son. And DF means friend and fiance' and even father. Just waiting for someone to type DD and mean their dear dog instead of daughter.
