Hi- I thought someone a while ago said that if you use your disney visa for disnye wedding expenses you get 0% interest can anyone confirm that? I have had one for a while and know you can do a vacation--

yes, Allison, that is correct. While it may be billed from Disney as "resort lodging", I was told that anything that is considered "Disney resort lodging" will qualify for the 0%....
Also, you should get a little special gift from Disney's Visa....
Hope this helps....

Did someone for DFTW tell you that? I called just called and the rep at the credit card told me only Disney Vactaion Packages worked that way- which was odd b/c I have booked just a hotel on that card and get the rate! Let me know and thanks

I was told by both my EM and a rep at the CC co. You might want to check again, sometimes the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.... :scratchin
As for only packages qualifying... we have never booked a package through Disney. We have always just mad a room only ressie and booked everything seperate, and, though we pay the CC off every month, when the statement comes, the "Disney resort" charges always qualify for the 0%.
Hope it works out for you!! :wave2: Let me know what you find out...

None of our Disney Resort charges have qualified for 0% interest but our Disney Cruise Line deposits and DVC deposits did. There was (or is) a special for new card holders to receive 0% interest for the first year... could that be what the cast member was speaking of?
I'd love to have a year to pay off the wedding - so if anyone can get a confirmation let us know!

I have the Disney Visa as well, and I did not receive 0% on any Disney vacations. I also did have the 0% interest for 1 year, but for some odd reason, they took it away after 5 months. I paid it off every month as well so I wasn't abusing the CC, but it just seems that Disney Visa is inconsistent.

This is interesting- I will try to call them Disney Visa tonight and see if I can find out something. I have had the promo for my hotel stays at Disney before.

We have had our cards for almost 3 years now, and we have always received (but not used) the 0% on our Disney vacations.
Like someone else said, I think the company is too inconsistent.... :confused3

I called them again- it is funny b/c my deposit qualified for the 0% but now my vacation is not, it was not a pkg, just hotel... but they said that weddings do not qualify- I do not understand why it has to be a pkg- This is frustrating--- Thanks!
I paid my entire wedding through Disney Visa and did not recieve 0% on the wedding I did however accrue over $400 in Disney Reward Dollars. I just paid the balance off each month & had to charge in increments of 5k because that was my limit. When I got my refund from DFTW thet credited to my Disney Visa.
