Anyone else staying at the GF the end of August?

I have read all the polls about free dining/who's staying where but I haven't found anyone else staying at the GF?

Anybody out there? We'll be there 8/25 to 9/1....of course I'm hoping we have the entire hotel to ourselves :thumbsup2.

Most Grand Floridian guests are not big into the Internet forums and I would imagine due to the cost very few are going to be there on the Dining Plan compared to the other resorts.

Hmm, what makes you think GF guests are any more or less likely to be DISsers?

I would also think they would be as likely as anyone to sign up for free dining. :confused3 Everyone like to save a little. ;)

I'll try not to show my free dining card :crazy: - us cheapos staying at the fancy resort, LOL. Actually, that's why we are staying at the GF, because we aren't paying for the food.

Actually, I was going to say the same thing. We booked the GF but unfortunately we had to miss free dining. But I would have happily had free dining to cut down the overall cost of the trip!

Have fun, and I expect to read a full review of your trip when you get back :cool1: ...we are going in October.

That is one reason we are staying there too!! Free dining - convinced DH to go!!

I have noticed that there are still rooms available Lagoon View and Garden View but no Concierge - so maybe we will get a Lodge Building to ourselves anyway!

We are in the lodge Concierge (our first time at the concierge). You won't be lonley now! LOL
