DH & I will be at BWV the first 5 nights, then OKW afterward. We plan a few trips to Jellyrolls, never been there even though this will be my 15th trip to the World. Raglan Road, too. Hoping we might meet some fellow dis'ers while we are there, will keep a look out for the lime green!

On the lime green thing, you can just never tell anymore. A family with all lime green (all five of them) on were walking into Mk on our first day there last month. I had on my lime green shirt and went up and asked if they were DIS people and she said what is that?? I explained and she said NO NO NO and almost ran away from me (I am truly not scary in real life). I felt like a donkey after that..too bad lime green is in style right now.. :rolleyes:

OMgosh! I would just feel like crawling away if that happened to me. I wasn't even thinking about that color being in style! Do you suppose we dis'ers started a trend for the season? :) Maybe we need to come up with a secret sign or something :) Maybe not, I just have a flashback of the big L loser sign to the forehead!!!

I think I'll stick with the lime green Mickey head from Home Depot. That should work for locating my kind of folks while not embarassing myself or scaring others. :rotfl2:

you're certainly welcome to, though you might need to get creative tho(i bought mine from a cast store at WDW years ago).
mine are made of a neon colored rubbery material, but maybe lime colored plastic would work too.........

Go to the paint section of Home Depot and find the Disney paint samples. Alien Green is the lime color everyone gets! :thumbsup2

I will be there at the same time as you!! I put my lime green Mickey's on my window. You can also saftey pin them, or punch a hole in the top and tie a lime green ribbon around them this way you can attach them to anything.

I got my Lime Green Mickey's yesterday (Alien Green Mickey Head from Home Depot)! Now, how would I go about placing one on the door at the hotel? Would there be a problem w/that at the resort? I think that I got about 5 of them (but left plenty for someone else to use). Anyway, what do you guys normally do w/the Mickey's (as I have never done this before)? Looking forward to my trip (in 6 days) to the WDW Swan resort. Let the fun begin!!!!
PS Hopefully my son will be over his little "bug" by then. He's been complaining of throat pain...took him to the MD today (08/14) and he doesn't have strep. He is now on Amoxycillin (2 tsp twice a day for 10 days)....
