Okay let's get this started! we are planning on a pool side meet (Hippy Dippy Pool) later on in the evening with some cool drinks :) :cheer2: :dance3: but we have to vote for a date first! You can always set up seperate or mini meets too!!

It seems that all of these dates have interested people, so we are going to just have mini meets throughout these dates. here is the info!

Well I guess the last 3 dates is perfect since we will land on the 29th... check in.. eat and then go party with Mickey! Saturday,Sunday and Monday def'ly no MK for us so it will be perfect for a meet! With everyone having a million different ADR's, touring plans at different parks, and different family situations,my vote was for the 3rd was strictly for logistics.

At MK alone, SEpT 29th MNSSHP till midnight, the 30th open till 11PM (wishes 10pm), Oct 1st has EMH till 12 am, the 3rd every park closes at 9 PM (including MK). Even with sub-par bus service we are all be back by 10 pm. :drinking1

Plus by the 3rd we all have some good stories about our days in the parks.

last year I was Voted "Miss Bounce Queen" I always bring a box of 80 count sheets and share it with my Laundry Mate :laundy: I hate seeing anybody spend $1 for a sheet and it was really nice meeting peeps just because of a bounce.. hahahaha.. thank god one of the missus has a good sense of humor ... one father who I saw the next day having breakfast.. waved and said hon!! thats the lady who gave me a bounce last nite !!! :rotfl: So!! c'mon down for the "Laundry Meet" mate!

hi everyone!!! here are approximate times that i have worked out depending on where we will be and my ADRs for that night!! if you want to meet earlier go ahead!! just have a sign or something at the table or area where you will be sitting!! anyhting will work!!

9/29--> our arrival date so we will be lounging around i should be at the pool by 9pm!!

9/30--> we have a OHANA ADR so it will be about 930 or 10 when i can get there.

10/1--> most likely pool loungin and drinkin away by 930 due to a late ADR at BOMA!!

10/3 LAUNDRY MEET!!! about 900 or 930!!

I voted for the 3rd. I can change that ADR (Cape May) to earlier, and we will have seen Family Stone twice by then. All of our ADR's are late, except for Boma's on the 30th, because we didn't want to miss the bands at Epcot..so unless you guys are late partiers, we'll miss most of you, by the time we get back.
We're non alcholic people, so we'll be the ones carrying our mugs.

I'll be there Tuesday(3rd) also, that's our MGM day. Fantasmic is at 7:30 so 9 or 9:30 would be perfect. Most likely will be there without laundry (so please don't shun me :guilty: ) .

Please remeber a few things:

The Pool's Lifeguards are off duty at 10 PM, so if you have little ones swimming, remember this.

Disney is strict about no glass near pool area, and no drinks(in any kind of a container) are permitted in the pool itself.

Now that the lawyer in me got that off my chest, I am excited to finally put faces to our screen names, drink an adult beverage and swap stories.

We did the Peter Pan/Capt Hook cruise last year...it was fun. They have a reception for you at the CR with Cpt Hook & Mr. Smeed, yummy desserts & YUMMY coffee! (don't know where it came from but it was good!) Then you board 2 boats, one Capt hook & one Mr Smeed...& you go off...your pirate hosts have contests tell jokes, and in general have a great time, you watch the Electrical Water Parade and then Wishes (with music piped in)...then Peter Pan "saves you" at the dock and stays to chat & take pictures. It was fun, my girls loved it.

We "created" a grand gathering, 10 of us from the DIS boards...all you have to do is think of a name - "DIS POP'rs" for example, and appoint someone the Grand poohba - I mean lead, and call everyone in! It's really simple!

I just found this thread today and have posted a couple times already, but I had to make note that we'll be at the Concourse on the 3rd also! It's an adult-only dinner for us (4 adults - the 4 kids will be back at the Hippy Dippy Pool!) and our ressie is for 7pm. What time is yours?

Another thing, if you can get a group to share that Illuminations cruise, it is AMAZING!! We did it last trip, and shared with posters I met online, and it was so wonderful. There's a lot more cruising than just sitting in the boat to watch Illuminations (which was awesome too, of course!). So, if you can find the folks to share and can still get a boat - DO IT!!

One last thing... I asked this question on another thread, but am asking again here so that I might reach even more posters... does anyone have a teen travelling with them that might like to meet other teens for pool time/arcade games etc? My DD is 15 and is the oldest of the 4 kids in our group, next are two 11 yr olds and an 8 yr old. So the sole teen would love to connect with some kids her age, as much as we're all looking forward to our "pool parties" and "laundry nite". As anyone WITH a teenage DD can surely understand, a teen with a companion is a HAPPY teen :) A lonely teen - EVEN at WDW, is still a bit of a :guilty: :rolleyes2 :worried: :sad: :bored: I for one would much rather have her party: :chat:

OK, I finally have my schedule worked out. I'm going to try to make the 9/30 pool meet (no laundry yet, I will have arrived that morning!). We're late diners, so every other night I will be eating dinner until around 10 PM.

HOWEVER, you will definitely see us around. We've been recognized more from DH's pic in my sig than from any green ribbons and Mickey heads that we might have. Even though the pic occasionally changes, DH still has a bright red beard which is very noticeable.

I am going with my 2 DD's, they are 22 and 13. We will be at the pool on the 30th, and also probably the 27th and 28th.

I have found them at Home Depot here in Nova Scotia. So I would think that all Home Depot's across Canada have them. Good luck!

NBC is Nightmare Before Christmas, I think. I'm at 33 days...*sigh* Days are moving soooo slooooooow!

Bought my DH some black crocs today...he's very happy with them. They're the "professional" style, so they don't have holes on the top, but do on the sides. He said they're more comfy than his other pair (the traditional crocs in a dark blue). They'll go well with his Beast costume. :teeth:

I'm still searching for some new crocs for me...anyone see the new gold Prima style in a ladies' 9?? :confused3 The website is all sold out, and no place in town has even heard of that particular style!

hey, i'm going down by myself sep 29 - oct 3. Staying at the POP Oct 1 - 3 (i think), going to MNSSHP on the 29th. So, you guys are having a halloween meet on the 29th? that would be great.
