Hi! We are staying onsite at WDW, but DH wants to attend the car cruise in Old Town. What would be the best way to get to the Old Town area from the Swan? How far is it? Should we take a taxi, or is parking okay in the area of the car cruise? He is a car nut, so he agreed to stay an extra night to be able to attend  Is it a good show?

We are car nuts too and always make the stop at old Town. We visit orlando in February so our cars are all put away up north so it is a lot of fun to go to a cruise at this time of year. It is very easy to find. It is right on Rt 192, about 5 minutes east from where 192 goes over Rt 4 depending on traffic. They actually do a cruise on both Friday and Saturday night but the Saturday night crusie is much bigger. they often get 300+ cars. Parking at the event is $5 but you can go down a little further and park in one of the lots and walk to it.

Thanks Jeff- What kind of car do you have? We have a 72 Chevelle 454 SS. I just sit and wonder how many Disney Trips we could take with all the money that thing has cost us :rotfl2: But, it did buy me one more day at WDW this year. :thumbsup2

Parking can end up being a problem so be sure to get there early (before 5:00pm).

Jeff- Blue with white stripes, not the original color I'm sure- We call her Michelle- the other woman  She requires a lot of my husband's attention. Mom- Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to do that.
